Director & Lead Naturalist, Becky Hunter, graduated from Unity College in Maine with Bachelor's Degrees in Wildlife Care & Education(1) and Environmental Education(2). She has spent several years developing and facilitating outdoor educational and recreational programs.  Currently, Becky also works as a Preschool Teacher at Trinity Child Care in Danville.

As a child, Becky always loved to explore the family farm and forest in her backyard.  As she grew up, her curiosity was inspired by involvement in 4-H, FFA, and Girl Scouting.  Through her experiences, she was able to explore agricultural and environmental sciences and her love for the outdoors continued to grow.  She attended 4-H Camp, Girl Scout Camp and several Conservation Camps. She spent several years volunteering and working with the Penn State Cooperative Extension's Nature Start Program as well as for the Carbon County Environmental Education Center in Summit Hill, PA and Lehigh Gap Nature Center in Slatington, PA.  Becky has also participated in many wildlife studies including studies for black bears, moose, white-tailed deer, turkeys, small mammals, migratory birds and turtles.  Additionally, Becky has been working with children for over fifteen years and has volunteered at many camps and eventually in 2006, independently directed her own Science Youth Camp as her Girl Scout Gold Award Project.   It was a huge success which led Becky to establish Evergrowing Inspirations in 2012.

On her free time, Becky enjoys traveling with her husband Robert.  Whether its climbing a mountain or performing in Vegas or New Orleans, it's always an adventure.  She also enjoys spending time with her dog Gracie and working in her gardens.

Evergrowing Inspirations has been a passion of Becky's since she was a child. She is excited to share nature and what she has learned with others.   Through Evergrowing Inspirations, Becky seeks to give back to her community and inspire others to do the same.

Evergrowing Inspirations is a 501.c.3 Non-Profit.  Our mission is to provide guests with exciting hands-on learning opportunities and provide opportunities to discover new things in nature, while generating environmental awareness, building leadership skills and promoting community involvement.  Evergrowing Inspirations' motto is to "Make a Difference One Child at a Time" and we offer ways to connect and discover nature through art, music, poetry and exploration.

Evergrowing Inspirations was established in 2012, and was originally located at Overlook Deer Farm in Lehighton, PA.  In our first year, we enjoyed exciting activities which included feeding captive white-tailed deer, working in the gardens, painting river rocks, observing wildlife, building a stream side trail system and discovering "good luck" clovers with four, five and six leaf clovers!

In 2013, Evergrowing Inspirations moved to Hunter's Dairy Freeze & Outdoor Park in Danville, PA.  Each year, Evergrowing Inspirations has continued to grow.

In December of 2016, Becky was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and started chemotherapy along with other treatments to help her get well. She will be taking a necessary leave of absence from teaching during her treatments and throughout her recovery.  Though saddened by this,  Becky is eager for the arrival of 2018 and is excited to start planning new and exciting programs for 2018.  In addition to offering summer day camps, Evergrowing Inspirations also will continue to offer educational programming for schools, churches, Scouts, and the community, as well as educational birthday parties.

‚ÄčAll group programs and birthday parties should scheduled in advance and may be modified to be developmentally appropriate for diverse audiences with indoor and/or outdoor classroom settings.
